Triptychs
I make these triptychs purely for my own pleasure.
They emerged out of the diptychs I exhibited.
Who knows, I might keep going!
One, two, three, perhaps I’ll end up making polyptychs.
It could be a part of my desire to move away from the still to the moving image,
From the photograph to the video,
Perhaps it’s the result of me trying to get closer to people somehow,
Maybe these are the initial trials of my attempt in storytelling through images.
In any case when I look at these photographs, the intimacy of connections I
have made seem apparent.
I remember them all.
And this warms my heart.

Belki sabit imajdan hareketli imaja, ya da fotoğraftan video’ya kayma gizli
arzumun bir yansıması.
Belki insanlara daha fazla yaklaşma çabalarımın bir sonucu.
Belki görüntüyle hikaye anlatma arayışlarımın ilk denemeleri.
Her halükarda bu fotoğraflara baktığımda insanlarla güzel bir etkileşim içinde
olduğumu görüyorum.
Onları hatırlıyorum.
